True 4-channel 24-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter
This lightweight and compact serial port-powered A/D converter is included with
Chrom&Spec system. It can be placed in close proximity to (or in some
cases built into) the instrument, reducing the noise and improving overall
resolution of the system. A personal computer connected through a digital cable
can be placed up to 100 meters (330 feet) away from the ADC without any loss in
resolution.
All 4 channels are completely independent from each other and have individual
time bases. No multiplexing! A single A/D converter can be used
for data acquisition from up to 4 instruments in parallel. Up to 8 converters can be connected to a single computer resulting in
32 channels independently processed by Chrom&Spec software.
